Will products change colour?

Any product made made from wood will have a slight degree of change, exposure to light, even ambient light, causes wood too slowly darken.

Will the product I buy crack or distort?

A product can distort, however this is unlikely if looked after, any natural product can be affected by the environment it’s in. Central heating systems can cause timber to dry out and as a result shrink and crack, this is avoided by not placing a product directly over a radiator.

Can I return a product?

We hope you are Satisfied with your Product, but if you want to return a piece, please write to use within 14 days of your purchase (restrictions apply, please see our terms and conditions). We will do our best to respond within 5 working days to confirm your refund if suitable. We only replace items which are damaged. We use high-quality Scottish and British wood with variations in grain, colour, knots and character. We can’t accept returns or refunds based on natural variations in our material.

Wood is natural material which can change dimension depending on the moisture, as a result of changing temperatures and humidity levels.

We work with wood that’s been kiln dried, but sometimes warpage, shrinkage can occur, especially when the furniture is shipped to climates different to that in which it was made for.

We cannot accept returns based on climatic differences and therefore it is your responsibility to maintain your product and care for it appropriately.

Wear and Tear?

Wood is a Wonderfull product to live with and work with, it can be repaired, restored and maintained relatively easily. MROC ART use Oils and waxes by Osmo, they are hard wearing, sympathetic products that protect the wood we without compromising the natural wooden look and feel.

My product is damaged, what do I do?

Here at MROC ART, we will always try and advice you on the best procedure if a product its damaged. Solid wood can always be Sanded, re-finised or have sections replaced. We are open to repairing certain products, however it’s not something we can guarantee.

Delivery and Packaging?

We take extraordinary care to pack our work in a way which prevents any damage in transit. We offer varying delivery options depending on the nature of the product, commission and your personal requirements.
